I'm new here so this is my first post. I have been lurking for awhile but decided to join the fray. I think it is great that everybody helps each other. So here it goes.
I am looking for some help on tandeming calls across a BCM. The customer wants to hook up a "Rightfax" server. The calls will be incoming and outgoing. They have a PRI going to PSTN and a T1 with 4 E&M trunks programmed going to the server. The BCM is Rls. 3.5 build 2.3. They dial 9 to get out and receive 3 digits on the PRI. I can make calls to the server from the switch and vice verse. I can not call from the outside.
How do I program the dialing plan to route the calls from outside? Do I need to use remote packages? Never programmed them before. I also need to send the received digits across the T1 so that the fax server can route the fax approprietly. Can this be done? The Right fax people have never connected to a BCM before, so they are no help. How do I program the dialing plan and access codes so that the server can send faxes? Any help is greatly appreciated. I know I can call Nortel, but the customer doesn't want to spend the money. So I thought I would try here.
Thanks
Chuck
