Hello to all,
I have recently been getting failed calls that have complete dead air.
Each time this issue happens I see in the trace that there is a talk slot issue where it shows talk slot NONE
These calls are goi9ng from a 1000M to a CS1000E via H.323 trunks.
After several attempts the call will eventually get a talk slot and complete the call without issue.
If I redirect the calls to route using a TIE trunk it works every time.
Not sure if this is a H.323 issue or if there is an issue with DSP resources.
Any guidance would be highly appreciated.
Below is a trace showing what I receive when the call is failing.
The call is being made from a M3904 digital set(on the 1000M) across the H.323 to another M3904 set.(on the CS1000)

You might want to check your history file in case any event took place yesterday / last night as it could be that you need to check your DTR / XTD are all OK and your media channels. It would appear that some of them are out of service.

Checked the history and don't see anything that would indicate that the DTR/XTD are out of service
went to ld 34 did a stat and got response of NONE
Does that indicate that there are not any DTR's out of service.
How can I list what DTR are assigned and which are in disabled status?

Thanks,

ld 20 prt dtr and enter through to list the DTR's. Then in ld 32 you can stat the whole card (stat 4 0 15 for example).

You can also prt the VGW's in ld 20 and those you can stat in ld 20 also.

If you go to ld 32 and just do a stat you will get to see all the loop and superloop status'.
