Talking Caller ID for M2616 1

I bought the ClassCo Voice Announce 9900CW for a user that is visually impaired and after spending many hours trying to hook it up I found out that out M2616 lines have caller ID but our type 500 do not.

This requires an additional license from Ma Bell to the tune of about $7,000.00.
Does anyone know of a system that could connect to a M2616 digital line that can announce the caller ID number?
Unfortunately she cannot read the display on the M2616 and the autodial buttons are colour coded to help her with frequently called numbers.

I want to get this running because if she does not know who is calling she has a long bi-lingual greeting she has to spout every time the phone rings because it could be a call from outside.
Something we take for granted because we can see who is calling us.

In a pinch, you "could" port the DID number to a traditional Centrex or phone company line and get Caller ID and use the phone you bought.

There is a slight chance you could just Call Forward the number to a traditional telco line and have the caller ID come with it (depends on the route configuration)

You're asking for something that a LOT of people would like. I would like to keep this thread alive.

Thanks GHTROUT that does give me something to think about.
We have 500 DID lines but I never thought of getting an external Centrex line and pay a monthly fee for that one line. It certainly would be more economical then the seven grand they want to license caller ID on our type 500 lines.

Now I’m wondering if they (Bell) could give me a Centrex line with the same DID I’ve assigned to her M2616. That would solve my problem completely.
The voice announcer is not a phone. It’s just a box with a speaker that announces the number of the caller.
It can also be programmed for frequent callers and when it see a particular number it will play a recording instead, something like “John Smith is calling” when it sees 555-1212 for example.
