Does anyone know if you need to hard wire a 24v power supply to a line port on the Norstar to get the Talk Back Paging to work?
If so please let me know and also if they will need other equipment besides the speakers and an amplifier.

The power supply is typically for your talk back paging horn. The line port is just your talk path.

So to get this straight, they put the power supply onto the talk back horn? Do you know which other connections they will need to make the talk back work besides the line port?
Thank you so much!

You would generally wire the tip and ring to a trunk port instead of the external paging port for 2-way paging.

Then you would only need a 2-way paging horn. This horn should have a transformer that you would have to wire to the horn in order to power its microphone and built-in amplifier (unless you are using a 2-way amplifier that powers it all for you).

Don't put power through the trunk port of the norstar.

You get talk battery from the switch when you have a trunk card installed, so no further power is needed to allow voice to pass.
