Taking over server -- no autogeneration of smtp/x400/x500 mappings

I am the new administrator of an Exchange 2003 box. I added a user and was confused when none of the Exchange mappings autopopulated in ADUC after the user is created. Where in setup could the previous sysadmin screwed things up such that this info would not be autopopulated? This is SBS so everything should be on the same server.

In ESM under Recipients>Recipient Update Service, right click on the Recipient Update Service (DOMAIN) and choose Update Now. Do the same for the Enterprise. If that doesn't work after a few minutes, right click on it again and choose Rebuild.
