Taking Over IE5.5 proprietary MIME Type

Hello,

I developed a simple ActiveX control to read various image formats. I am able to activate my Control for all but three(JPEG, PNG, BMP) which are the default image formats for IE.

I tried to use my Control's CLSID for these mime types but still the ActiveX Control is not activated.?

How can Control take over the default MIME types of the Container?
