Does anyone know if it's acceptable to take Oracle Developer Exams out of order?

I want to take 1z0-131 (Internet Apps I) before I take 1z0-101 (PL SQL) because there are more materials available for that exam.

Doesn't matter. In fact in the Oracle DBA guide it is even recommended to do so. Whatever gives you comfort in getting through the process. Good Luck!

I have just finished off the developer track.

I took them out of order and found it better for me to do so. What I did is I read through ALL of the material for certification prior to completing the exams (Although I did take the Intro SQL exam before reading the remaining sections). I found it helpful to get a good overview of forms, reports and program code to I would have a sound knowledge on how it all comes together.

If I was to do it again I would do the same thing.

Another reason for doing it this way was so I would have the skills to actually do the job rather than just memorizing and passing one section at a time.

Just something to keep in mind.

Good luck

Adrian
