does anyone know if it is possible to take a copy of IE5 history and examine it on another pc.

I found a history folder but this only contains the dat files, are these movable to another pc?

Thanks

Jonathan

If you look in your "Windows" or "Winnt" directory, depending on which version you have, all temp IE files are stored in "Temporary Internet Files" or "c:\documents and settings\$username$\local settings\temporary internet files".You will be able to cut and paste this into the directory of your other PC, and view the same files.

Short answer to your question is 'Yes' you can move the history folder to a 2nd PC.. Use copy and paste to 2nd PC and reboot.. Go into IE and history files should be there..

Good Luck.
