Takes ages to browse LAN network when safenet soft pk is installed

I've setup a VPN so I can access my mail from home. Everything works fine over the dial up connection, but when I use the LAN network in work everthing is incredibley slow. Any help would be really appricated.

Smalltechboy,

Can you describe to me how you are dialing in and making a VPN connection? Basically, from the point of making a dial-up connection to the point of being able to browse your network. I'm asking because I have SafeNet client installed on my Win98 laptop and I can't even get connected to our network here at work in order to browse! Any help would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!
