Take a snapshot from flash webcam feature

i know how to see the webcam in my swf, however, i want to have a button that when the user clicks it saves a snapshot from what currently on the webcam on the server.
if it's not possible to do on the server, i don't mind if it will save it on the user's computer and by PHP i'll make it upload the image.

To the best of my knowledge (i looked into this a couple times) the webcam feature in flash mx only works with flash communication server. There are no methods for saving images or streams from the webcam that i have found. Also, flash cannot save locally other than a shared object.

what you can do is use flash communication server to save a one frame FLV file, and then convert it to an image or swf using FFMPEG.
