Hello,

I am being ask to set up tail end hop off on our S8720 R13.5
The problem, as I see it, is the calls will be coming in on a ISDN T1 with the service type as "Tie".
I'm thinking the incoming call handling table won't allow me to set up tandem calling with the tie service type.

Am I wrong, any ideas ??

Thanks
Jim

Do you have any ICHT entries now? If you set the service type in the Trunk field to CBC, then you can program the ICHT to whatever service you want for each entry.

CM 5.2 (India)
IP Office 5.0 (China)
Modular Messaging 3.1

Thanks for the reply. No, I'm not currently using the ICHT. When I put up the change command for the ICHT and the trunk group, the service field is greyed out and says "tie", which I think is telling me I can't use ICH for tie trunks.
