I want to start formatting my text via tagged text. Does anyone know here I could find the codes for this (I don't have the original Indesign CD)

Are you referring to XML? Do you have the crossmedia plugin installed? What version of InDesign? What happened to the CD?

Indesign 2.0.2
I saw someone use stylesheets in Quark he placed code in the his text file, placed this in the quark document. Quark red the code and applied the correct formatting. Does Indesign use the same code or a differetn one?

InDesign uses XML. You can import an XML file and map the XML tags to styles defined in InDesign.
