Tag cloud - how?

Hi guys!

I want to ask about tag cloud. What I want to do is to create a tag cloud based on what the users had typed in the search box. The most popular search words. How do I go about doing it?

I want that to look something like this:

http://swik.net/ASP.NET?tagCloud

you need to know the terms and how often they are used.
the crudest way would be to have a table of tags and counts query this table and set the css depending on ranges
foreach tag :
if(count > 100)
H1
elseif(count > 50)
H2
else
H3

I think there are some GUI tools out there that do this already.
