I just digged into the DECT word using SKK boards for the Tadiran PBX. We already have some installation, but for future planning I would like to know your experience.
SKK were developed together with KIRK Telecom in Denmark, using KIRK basestations and (maybe) KIRK DECT handsets.

Hi, I've not had much to do with the cards but know of several big installations. They seem to be pretty reliable and I've only ever seem one major problem but that was in a very big site (approx 50 base stations) with a cluster of SKK cards and it was fixed by a software upgrade to the SKK card.

Sorry I can't be of much more help. There's no real issues with them as far as I know.

Hi disturbedone

Thank you for this positive answer.

I can tell with experience that it,s the main reason we stopped with selling Tadiran.

It works but we tried it in hospitals (1000+ handsets)and almost 1,5 year later we only have to reset th skk cards once a month. And just don,t ask about clusters.

It works for small side,s but is just not bullit proof like the coral is.

It works just be fary carefull and experienced in DECT....

We have Flexair set in several nursing homes and have had little or no trouble. One thing we tell our customers is to make sure that the Flexair phones are turned off before placing them in the chargers. This enables the phones to resycn. with the base stations. We do this because we have found that if the phones are left on for an extended period of time they lose sync with base stations. Also when the system is installed, make sure to sync all of the base stations before registering the Flexair phones.
