TActionList ImageIndex question

Hi, I have an annoyance I hope someone can help with.

I am using a TActionList where my actions are stored, these are linked to a TActionManager. The TActionManager is used for a ActionMainMenuBar (to create menu similar to that of Delphi's, Alphablended).

I am also using a TToolBar which each button uses an action from my TActionList. Either way simply put, my main menu and toolbar uses the TActionList for events such as copy, paste etc..

The TActionList, TActionManager and TToolBar all use the same TImageList. From the TActionList where all my actions (events) are, I set the required ImageIndex.

Now unless I am expecting too much, I would of thought defining the ImageIndex from the TActionList would update all the ImageIndexes for the main menu and TToolBar I have linked. This is not the case though, not only do I have to change the ImageIndex for the action in the TActionList, but I also have to change the ImageIndex in the TActionManager Actionbars and also the TToolBar.

Sorry for the long post I wanted to get all the info in there.

Its annoying if I add or delete any images from my ImageList, I have to reselect the new ImageIndex for the TActionList, TActionManager Action bars and also the TToolBar, surely just changing the ImageIndex in the TActionList would update everything.

Am I missing something here, does anyone else notice this behaviour?

Here is a video (a bit off topic) about using the ribbon control in Delphi, but it does explain how to do exactly what you're asking... Having the defined images associated with your actions imported correctly.
