Anyone got any positive or negative feedback on using either TACACS+ or RADIUS for access/authorization/accounting for telnet/ssh access to manage Cisco equipment?

Specifically, I'm looking for comparisons and/or real-world experiences that might sway my decision to use one protocol over the other.

Thanks.

heres my advice use the tacacs but know theres a security hole there but itd the better one
have fun trying to find it

Hi

Tacacs+ is the most used.
I set an aaa for an ISP using Tacacs+ with CiscoSecure 2.6
Windows NT release.
It works with no troubles.
You can find Tacacs+ on Linux and it's free.
We had an experience using that and we develop an accounting application .

Hope helpful
