Let me ask you something about Cisco tech support since I am really new to the world of Cisco. I work for a cisco gold partner. I know with Microsoft since we are a Microsoft partner they provide us free tech support when a server is down or business critical situation occurs. Does Cisco offer anything like this?
Is there any special level of support for cisco partners? gold partners? or is it just equal to everyone else?
I know if I have a serial of a piece of equipment that is new and still under there support I can call them with that but what if it has expired and that is not an option. Do we get any sort of service contracts through our partnership? How do you usually call TAC? Do you always have a serial? Is there anyway to get them to provide support for configuration on hardware? I am trying to learn the support options with cisco.
