What's the deal with NN4? In trying to mould my site to NN compliance and I find variable results with CSS.

Sometimes the styles cascade, and sometimes they don't, and I am finding I have to set the class for every table cell, instead of just the table.

The thing is, sometimes I need to, and sometimes I don't, sometimes also the style attribute of <td> is ignored entirely, where is the consistency?

This is a general question, just if anybody has found this too, hence no code posted.

Yup, NS is bad. What else is new? I'm just glad so many people recognize this now. Two years ago, everyone still thought NS was better than IE and thought I was crazy for suggesting otherwise.

As far as your problem, try defining a td.class so that it is applied to every cell.

Tried that too actually, and incidentally I am starting to fall in love with the challenge of NN! Rather than letting it get to me I have tried to make it my friend, and in some ways I like it's simplicity...

But I guess I am just kidding myself!
