I have two tables in a one to many relationship. Both tables have date fields. I want to ensure Table2.Date > Table1.Date.

Can this be done at the table level? If so, what is the correct syntax?

Thanks in advance.

Can this be done at the table level?
No, due the lack of triggers in Access.
You have to enforce the validation rules in the BeforeUpdate event procedure of the data entry form and don't allow the users to play directly with the tables and the queries.

Hope This Helps, PH.
