Hi

I am using DW MX2004.

When using the table function I have a table 800 pixels wide with 3 columns and 4 rows. The left hand column includes all 4 rows merged and contains an image 82 wide and 550 high. I then place images and media into other areas of the table and set the cell height to match the item within it and set all the cells to top. When i publish the page the table cells are spaced out leaving gaps like this
Can anyone help me please?

Thanks Andy

Hi. You might want to try making two tables, instead: 1 table with one row and one column for your banner on the left, and another table with 2 columns and 4 rows for your content. Whenever tables are doing something that I cannot make sense of, I just make more tables--lots of times, problems formatting one row or column are related to different formatting in another row or column.

I agree with traingamer, Tables should be used for tabular data only. not layout. In any case, i seems to me, that setting cellspacing and cellpadding of the table to 0 should fix your gap issues.

Code:
<table cellpadding=0 cellspacing=0....>

I didn't realize that leftbracket soapbox rightbracket produced [soapbox] so I apologize for the unintended result. [blush]
