Hi There.

I have been using MSAccess since inception.
I just begun to use MSAccess 2007.
I inherited a 2007 application that had the Tables as part of the App. I split the app to separate the data from the app.

I then linked the tables.

I can view the tables,no problem.
However, when I try the form which the linked table is bound to, it shows no records.

Any ideas about resolving this issue would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Jeff

Hi GingerR.

Yes. Data entry is set to yes.

Somehow, it does not think there are any records.

A form with Data Entry set to Yes will not show any existing records! How can someone who has "been using MSAccess since inception" not know this? Data Ebtry set to Yes only allowd new records to be added!

Setting "Data Entry" to YES means the form is opened ready for a new record to be entered, hence the form is blank.

Hi GingerR.

Thanks for your assistance.
I had figured it out.

missinglink.

I appreciate your response for help, but not your sarcasm.
I have been programming for over 25 years and have used about 8 different programmimg languages during that time frame.

I currently use 3 differently languages today.

Perhaps, when you get to my age, you might have a tendacy to miss somethng when the new version that you have not seen before has a different layout and its 3:00 AM in the morning.

Think before you critisize someone that you don't know anything about.

The objective of the site is to help people, not to critisize them.

Regards,

Jeff
