Hi
I'm a complete newbie with this software.
Yesterday I tried to install Mysql 5.2.3 on a windows xp SP2 workstation - for testing purposes. Everything has run fine, exept for this error message :

"Trying to start the server ...
Server was started.
Fatal error: Can't open and lock privilege tables: Table 'mysql.servers' doesn't exist

C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.2\bin\mysqld-nt: ready for connections.
Version: '5.2.3-falcon-alpha-community-nt' socket: '' port: 3306 MySQL Community Server (GPL)

SCHEDULER: Loaded 0 events "

It appears each time the service is started. The service keeps running but doesn't respond.
Thanks for any help.
Olivier
