Is it possible to merge two tables by one variable in a select query and recieve output if either dataset contributes to the outcome. Example: If I have two datasets with 50 records each but only 25 match, I want the output to show 75 records, the 25 that match, and 25 from each datset that doesn't match. This is quite easy in SAS (my usual method), but Access only seems to support one sided or match mergers in queries.

Union query? doesn't depend on Access (or SAS, or ...) Just be sure to omit the "all" predicate.
