Table locks while executing passthru queries

I don't know if this is the right forum if not please point me in the right direction.

We develop on an Access Database that is a Front End to SQL Server. We had been sailing along for years without any problems. Now, several of our customers are starting to have weird locking problems. Innocent passthru queries are causing Table locks. This has only been a problem recently and only at our larger customers (well, until today when one of the customers that only has 3 Users had the same problem. Some of our customers have Users on Terminal Service using the program as well.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem, if so were you able to isolate the problem and subsequently fix it.
