This may be simple but i cant nut it out, i not quite advanced as yet.

I have database A and database B. I want to have a table from A to be linked into B, cool thats easy, but my problem is i only want the link to be one way. I want changes to be made in B when they occur in A but i dont want changes to occur in A when made in B. Taking in all suggestions.

Cheers, schmi

Hi schmi,

What database are you using?

You have described the default behavior of most databases. Example: When you create an index from a table, the index will always be updated through the table changes, but not the other way around.

This sounds like replication?
(I could be wrong)

What database package is it?
