I am using Crystal 10. I have two tables that contain identical fields but different formats. First is 11 digit number field on each but one have preceding zeros and other has preceding spaces. Other field is 7 digits one with preceding zeros text field and other is number field with nothing preceding. If anyone has an idea on how to join these fields.

You will have to write a formula field to get the right or left (whichever it is) 7 spaces of the 11 character field, then use a subreport and link the 7 character field to the new formula.

In crystal you cannot link on a formula field, hence the need for a subreport.

What is the database you are using ?

If you have the ability to create views, stored procedures , queries etc... I would work on the database to create views with the fields in the same datatype and format.
