pls I need help with a report I'm working on. It's for a result processing application. the details section contains a list of all students with their respective term scores & grades all in a table, the footer section is now supposed to hold course summaries with columns like Highest score & Highest scorer for each course also in tabular form. The challenge is when I run it the report shows only the last row{for the last course on the table}. Is it because it's the footer section and it's been pre-formated to accept only single-line-summary-entries e.g. total & average? what can I do about it, how do I go around it? the report's past due for submission and this is all that's holding it back.
thanks.

Please clarify whether you mean you want summaries in a group footer based on course versus wanting summaries for all courses in the report footer.

What fields have you got in the footer? If you place the detail fields, that's just what you get. You need to specify group totals separately. The use of Crystal's automated totals is outlined at FAQ767-6524.

Thanks, i'v bn away for a while.
I want summaries for all courses in the report footer, a table containing summaries for each course in separate rows
each row has the following columns~ {individual}course code, course name, highest score{for the course}, Matric number(s) {of highest scorer(s)}.i already have a table with the data in this format.
thanks lbass & Madawc for responding.

Try inserting a crosstab in the report footer where you use course code and course name as rows, and maximum of highest score and maximum of Matric number as summaries. Go into the customize style tab and suppress subtotals for one of the rows, and also go to summary display->horizontal->show labels. Edit the labels as necessary.
