Indesign CS2 on a PC. When applying the "make header" to a table that continues on several pages along with column heads the columns are locked.

The tables are designed such as

Table 1. Table Title
Column head Column head Column head.

This all needs repeated on every continued page. The problem is the Table number (Table 1.) is needed but instead of the Table Title I need to place the word Continued. The text area is locked and I cannot edit it, but I still need all the column heads. Is there a way to force editing?

Thanks

Sandra

That's a really clever workaround. By default, header (and footer) rows are only editable in their first appearance. Thanks for the link,Eggles!
