Hi,

I would like to know what is the quickest way to apply the same format (borders and Shading) to all tables in word 2007.

Thanks,

Use Styles

Do these table exist already, or are you making them?

If you are making them, then use an AutoText entry. That is, make your table, and select and save it as an AutoText. When you want another one...use the AutoText.

Otherwise, yes, use Styles. Although....table styles are kind of funky and not totally reliable.

Another option is to have a document with a 'model table' in it. Use cut-and-paste to place it and then paste the data in from an unformatted table. In Word 2003, at least, this would work if the tables had the same number of rows and columns and if you used Paste Special > Unformated Text.
