This seams weird to me, but maybe someone can explain this to me.

If I open up a table in design view and look at a field it is called abc, now if I go into datasheet view and I look at the column heading I am getting a name called "Does this issue involve..." Why and how does this happen? Why is it not called abc for the field in design view but something else in datasheet view? This field is linked to a form.

Thanks,

darkhat

When in design view have a look at the Caption property of the abc field.

Hope This Helps, PH.

It's the samething... Nice... So if I put something in caption then it will always show what is there in datasheet view?

Thanks PHV...

Good reason to never ever use the Caption property in table design view. Same goes for lookup fields and other properties that I completely ignore in table design.

And furthermore, Description gets put in Status Bar Text, which I find very annoying.
