Hey,

On two PC I run an application with more ore less the same procedure. They are using a same linked table placed on the network. When running the applications he said the common table is already taken by another user (application).
How can you avoid this conflict ?
Someone suggested to use a select statement, I don't see ?

So you have two applications accessing a single table at the same time?

Can you post the code from the two procedures?

Which line of code is causing the error and what is the exact error message and number?

Ed Metcalfe.

Please do not feed the trolls.....

By procedure I mean not necessary code procedure. The main part of my procedrue is a query which enrich data with functions in my query. The function use a same source of information, a linked table.
