Table/Cell Spacing

I am trying to put object in tables next to each other, but when I stack them next to each other I get a space in between each cell of the table. Is there a way to have them be directly next to each other with no noticible spacing? For example I have a white background and I am trying to put an image in one cell and a blue background with writing in the cell next to it, but I want the directly touching each other. When I do that, it gives me a spacing in between.

Try changing the Tables cellspacing and Cellpadding properties to 0.

<table cellpadding=0 cellspacing=0 ...><tr><td>....
