Table borders

Can someone tell me how to set the border property of a single cell so that only one side of the cell has its border property on?

The only way I have been able to find to accomplish this was to place a single cell table with border properties on within the cell you wish to appear with borders.

I use a lot of tables to guide page layout. If there is another way to do this, I, TOO, will be interested to hear about it.

Hey Everytime,

Try this,
<table width=80% border=0>
<tr>
<td>No border</td>
<td style=&quot;border-right-style:groove&quot;>border</td>
<td>No border</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>no border</td>
<td>no border</td>
<td>no border</td>
</tr>
</table>


The only problem is I don't know that it will work with NN...( What a shock )
