Table accepts data but doesn't save it

I have a table set up that will accept new records but once the record is added I can't update certain fields. I have tried through a query, and through directly accessing the table. And the new values will not stay. I get no error message, I get no wierd happenings. I thought it might be because of the network so I moved the db to my C:\ drive and same thing.

I am totally stumped. How is it I can add a record but later cannot update it?

Are you trying to update these field from a form or directly from the table?

Can you clarify this and I may be able to help...
