Hello,
I have an Excel workbook in which I put a user form so I can control the destinations of the data entered by the users. Everything works as I want it to with one exception: occasionally, the tab key doesn't shift the focus to the next text box on the form. Instead, it tabs over within the text box that currently has the focus.
The form isn't rendered useless because the focus can still be shifted by clicking the desired text box with the mouse. However, the tab issue does cause problems for some of my users (who apparently struggle with the mouse as a navigational tool) and it leaves little boxes (one for each tab) in the spreadsheet fields which can cause problems with the calculations and comparisons performed by the spreadsheet.
For the life of me, I can't figure out what causes this to happen. I have seen it, but I don't know how to make it happen so I haven't been able to find a way to stop it. When it has happened, I've found that shutting down Excel and restarting the application will make the tab function work as it should.
Has anyone else seen this? If so, do you know how I can make it stop?
Thanks!
