Tabbed Form

I created a tabbed form, but when I enter data in any field on form it the same data appears for every record. How do I get this data to be specific to a record?

Properly set your "ControlSource" property of the control(s), assuming you are working with a bound form.

I am not sure what that means?

Right click the field, select properties

On the properties dialog box, locate 'Control source' ad use the dropdown to select a valid field in the source table.

If there is no drop-down, you need to set the control source for the entire form, and set it to a table.

Thanks, I did complete that step. I cannot get the data I enter into this tabbed form to be specific to the contact id in the main form. Lets say, I enter number of staff on one record the same number appears in that field for all records???

Probably something simple.
