I have yet to replicate this but apparently an after update event is firing when users click amongst tabbed documents.

Apparently error 2165 "You can’t hide a control that has the focus" is occuring. While visibility properties are set in the event in question, they are not for involved control(s).

Technically I have the After_update even called from other after_update events as those events set the controls values... In any case none of those source controls having focus would should cause that error.

Using Access 2010. Any thoughts/insights?

I am completely unable to replicate the issue but I think I will just kill the document tabs (under current database options).
