I have a Tabbed Data Control with seven tabs; each tab representing a different record source. What I'm looking for is a solution to use each tabbed subform to present data in multiple formats and sort orders from the same record source. For example, if the user selects one set of search fields and criteria, I want to sort and present the data in format #1 and format #2 for different search
fields and criteria.

Thanks in advance for any solutions or ideas.

Just an idea...

On the click event of each tab, set the subreports to a blank form by running a procedure and then set to the appropriate form.

I'm curious as to any tweaking to my idea that is necessary.

lameid,

Thanks for your idea on this thread. After giving this question some additional thought, I came up with the following solution.

Each of the seven tabs is associated with a separate table and I have a checkbox for each table that will be searched. Based on the search criteria, I will make the appropriate subform visible and the one that is not needed invisible. Each subform will have a Select statement in its Record Source property that will order the data to match the applicable subform. I'll use one tab control with multiple subforms per tab control page. Also, rather than displaying every tabbed subform as was originally planned, I will display only those that have been selected.

Thanks for your help!
