I am modifying a form that has many DB aware components. So far all I have done is move the existing components around on the form so they match the position on the paper citation that the entry is done from.
I have modified the TabStops for each of the objects so the clerks can just tab through the form and enter the data. The only problem is that stops working 1/2 way through the form! It goes from tabstop 22 to tabstop 28! I can NEVER tab to stops 23 - 27.

If I am in the IDE the tab order works as expected!

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Leslie

Are the controls assigned to tab stops 23 - 27 perhaps located inside a TPanel or TGroupBox? If 'yes', is that components TabStop property set to false? I've shared your grief in trying to get form tab orders to do what you'd expect outside the IDE. Sometimes the only way to be sure what the parent/child relationships are is to view the form as text.
