I am trying to export a report into a Tab separated format, but I do not want the double quotes around the text. I had this fixed once with a registry edit change, but I now have a new PC with a clean version of Crystal 11 installed.

Does anyone know of a way to create the tab separated export without double quotes around the text, or the registry edit change needed?
Thanks.

Found it, but you need to export as a CSV file and remove the , in the delimiter field and select Tab as the separator.

Below are the registry changes necessary to make it work:
Edit Hey_Current_User\Software\CrystalDecisions\10.0\CrystalReports\Export
Highlight Export and right click, select New Key and call it CSV
In this folder is a (Default) entry on the right side. Right click on this entry, select Modify, and change the Value Data to 0 (zero). Then click OK
Click on the CSV folder again. Right click in an empty area in the right window pane. The word New will appear. With the mouse over the word New, a secondary menu will open. Click on DWORD Value to create a new DWORD-Type object. Name this new object AreaExportOptions Then, right click on this new object, select Modify, and change the value data to 1 (one) Then click OK. Your CSV folder should now include the following two objects: (Default) REG_SZ 0 and AreaExportOptions REG_DWORD 0x000000001 (1)

Or you could just do a quick edit->replace in notepad, where you choose " and enter nothing in the "replace" row->Replace all.
