tab order question

I have a form with several fields which also has a subform connected to it. I have the tab order on the main form set up so the tab jumps from the first field of the main form to the subform, and I have the tab order of the subform set to move through the fields in the order I wish. However, when I tab from the first field on the main form, the tab goes to the subform, but if I have exited the subform from say, the second field the last time I had the subform open, the tab jumps to the second field, not the first subform field. Is there anyway to code this so the tab always jumps from the first field on the main form to the first field on the subform.

Did you Field.setfocus on opening of the tab?

Not exactly sure what you mean here, but I don't think so.
