I have a simple template. It is a table that has 5 columns and 5 rows. In each cell there are 5 text fields (from the form toolbar) I would like it to tab across the row then go down and tab across again, etc. So it would be a1,a2,a3,a4,a5 the a1,a2,a3 a4 a5 again..does that make sense? Once it is locked it is now going down the cell then across..a1,a1, a1, a2,a2,a2,a3,a3,etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You will have to make separate row/cells. Word completes each cell first. So if you have five formfields in cell A1, all of them action before it moves to cell A2.

If you lines are in separate rows (thus separate cells) it will work as you describe. You could make the separate rows have no borders so it looks like they are still in one cell (if this is important).

AFAIK, there is no way around this. Word processes (via Tab) all formfields in a cell first, before moving on.
