I have a form with a tab control. I have reordered all of the fields including frames and now I cannot get the tab order working correctly. Since these fields are on the tab control, I cannot see them in the tab order dialog. Whenever I try to set the fields manually starting at 0, they go haywire and seem to set to whatever they want to be at. Is this a known problem, or am I just crazy (don't answer that one). Any help would be appreciated on how to get my tab order working. Thanks.

If the controls on the tab control are part of the main form, you should be able to set the tab order in the View...Tab Order. If the controls on the tab are from a subform, then you have to go to design view on that subform and set the tab order there.

The tab control itself is in the main form's tab order; the controls within it have their own order within the tab control, starting at 0.

If you click on a control within the tab control, then open the View Tabs dialog, you'll see just the controls within the tab control. You can arrange their order (within the tab control). Rick Sprague
