I have a form with a tab contol on it. All works fine on my Flat Panel but when I switch to my laptop when I click on any tab the selected tab comes up just fine but the ither tabs disappear, the user can't change tabs or see any of the tabs. I can close the form and reopen and all the tabs are visible again but click on any of the tabs and it becomes like a single view, selected tab displaying properly but the tabs are gone and I can't change to any other tab without closing and opening the form.

Probably something about screen size and resolution but how do I make the db display properly on different size screens (laptop vs monitor)?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Joel

There are several free form resizer utilities:
They have a tendency to have mixed results.
You can also, depending on the complexity and number of forms, build duplicate sets of the forms for different resolution. This usually guarantees better results. Then you check the resolution and choose the correct set of forms.

However if this is not a resolution issue, check to ensure you have the most up to date service packs for your version. I know 2007 had some issues with controls not rendering properly in the early releases.

Thanks to both of you! I ended up shrinking the form(s) just enough so they will display properly. It seems my new work place flat panel, which is great, can handle more than regular screens. I had the thing working and switched to my laptop for a demo and...my tabs were gone, so much for my demo. I've incorporated scroll bars in the data displays but the tabs surprised me. Moving forward, this goes into my lessons learned for the project.

Thanks again!
