Ta-308 EFA

I have a customer with a TA-308, they have an issue when trying to do an external transfer using a cordless telephone. the cordless is connected in parallel with the main keyphone and the trunks are CENTREX trunks. transferring using the flash button the keyphones works fine, but when they try and transfer using Flash + 6 from the cordless the display on the paralleled keyphone comes up as invalid, I thought it might be a recall timer setting , but internal transfers work o.k. what am I missing?

TRY FLASH TIMER IN CO DETAILS 600MS USALLY DOES IT OVER
HERE AND MAKE SURE YOU YOU HAVE PARRALLEL EXT TURNED ON
ON THAT EXT THAT MAY STOP YOU FROM DOING A FLASH
ALSO IT MAY BE FLASH 6 FOR A HOOK FLASH BUT I THINK THATS FOR HOLD... IF ALL ELSE FAILS READ THE BOOK i'VE NEVER SEEN A TA-308 THEY WEREN'T AROUND FOR LONG....

OR YOU MAY FIND THAT THE FLASH TIMER ON THAT CORDLESS
JUST DOES NOT PRODUCE THE PROPER FLASH TIME IT SELF PUT A 2500 SET ON THERE AND SEE IF YOU CAN GET IT TO WORK

Looks like you can't use the EFA code on an SLT extension which is paralleled with a keyphone, we set up a duplicate system in the workshop, unplugged the keyphone and all is well, plug in the keyphone and the SLT EFA function stopped working. ended up setting up a spare extension with the cordless and included it with the keyphone extension in a UCD group, then logged out the keyphone when the receptionist is away from th ereception desk
