Does anyone know of a wireless headset solution for the Nortel t7613e? I've tried the Plantronics CS55 (I think that was the model), which claims to be compatible but it is not.
I worked with 2 of their tech team agents (who were very nice) but the unit would either only ring (beep) in the headset to alert you of a call or you could have the mic and speaker work. But not both, so it doesn't really work with the Nortel phone.
I need a wireless solution for a call center manager who has bad knees and can not get up and down stairs.

thanks in advance for any help you can give.

I believe there is an adaptor you can get to stick to the speaker grille that will give you both. It should be available as a kit with the adjustable arm extender and the HL10 lifter, as well as the CS55.

Thanks OG!

The CS55 came with the HL10. I tried with the agents both with and without the lifter.
One problem is that the cc manager spends alot of time away from his desk and he needs to be able to answer his phone without necessarly being there.
...or maybe it's possible to forward his extension to his cell? Any thoughts?

If you are using the lifter HL 10 plug it in the handset port and add the extension arm to the lifter to lift the handset set the lifter height to the middle position.Bottom switch on the cs 55 to "B" side switch on "1", volume on "2", their is a mic under the lifter no need to add remote mic pick up for ring. I have installed hundreds of these not a problem.

Make sure you are plugged into the handset jack and not the headset jack. That will make a difference.

Ironhorse - Did you install the CS55 on the Nortel t7316e ? I know I entered t7613e in the subject of this post...it was late.

The HL10 connects to the CS55 base unit via what looks like a 3.5mm plug not an rj22 so I can not connect the HL10 directly to either the hand or head set jacks.
One configuration I have tried is
Lifter to CS55
CS55 to handset (not handset port on bottom of t7316e)
CS55 to handset port on bottom of t7316e
That allows you to talk and hear however there is no alert telling you that a call is incoming. Which means the wearer would have to be at their desk.

Turn the lifter over there is a mic to pick up ringing to tell headset their is a call, the mic seats right over the speaker of the ringing phone or any sound coming over the speaker, maybe volume too low or if the external mic is also used it causes problems. back of cs 55 to handset port, front to handset.

Try this on headset base with headset in cradle, press and hold down the two volume controls on back of base until both power and charge light flash in sequence release; press and hold the top button of the headset in base, mute button, til the light on the middle of headset goes steady and release top button light will go off on headset after a while, you have register headset with base.

To re-subscribe headset to base with headset in base press and hold mute button down and press the connect button at the same time until middle light start flashing fast release and wait til light goes out, unplug power from base wait 10 sec power up press connect several times until lifter lifts.

Thank You IronHorse17! Your information has been very valuable.

The lifter doesn't fit quite perfectly, by that I mean it has a hard time placing the handset back on the hook. We came up with a way to stablize it using tape and folded paper. I know it sounds like a dumb idea but it's working! Thank You Thank You Thank You!

This would be a good FAQ...or a great Instructable

There should be and extension arm that comes with the lifter to position the handset properly.
