We installed the phone and it worked for a while. Then it would not charge so we replaced the whole kit. The kit included the phone, charger, and base station. The same problem occured, it would not charge. I brought it back to my shop and had it here for several days. I ran the battery down all the way and then charged it up again and I did this twice. The customer calls today and says that it is dead again and will only work if put in the charger cradle. The only thing that comes to mind is this is an electrical problem. Could this be a dirty ground issue? Has anyone seen this before or am I just cursed?

Does sound like some sort of electrical issue.
Have them try the outlet at KSU or better the electrical room usualy has an outlet right by the main circuit box.

There is a little 3 prong tester avaiable, has 3 lights on it and tests for any faults and simple to use.
