Hi all,

I am currently installing a T7406E base station with 2 wireless handsets. The system originally ran with the T7406 base station 2 wireless sets. I have been able to register both sets with the base station however I am unable to get both of them to hit the KSU. I realize that I have to be in the TCM 1-4 port my question how should I change the wire to accommodate the new system? I believe it is the wiring because I am getting two amber lights on the center 2 lights of the four line lights.

Ya, the documentation for those things are terrible. You are in the correct connector for more than 1 handset. Although it uses an RJ45 connector, it's not wired like a data connector.

Just go from left to right with blue orange green brown for the 4 sets on pins 1-8. If you do have to use a patch cord, just cross connect to where the blue and orange pairs are on it for your 2 sets.

The unit comes with more of a quick connect guide, look at the avaya site for the 64 page install guide which explains this.
