7406 imitates a 7310 set, so... Why don't you install a 7310 set (temp on the 7406 stn port), add your 4th line then do a f*81 to move the line to the second button down on the right side?? Then plug the 7406 back in...
If no 7310 available:
If u have lines 1 to 4 then I program lines 1-3 and lines 7&8(lines not used) then release from config and then go back in and add line 4.
I just give them features and have those lines ring only on the intercom.
If it simulates a 7310 but you are missing the bottom 2 buttons on left side and top and bottom button on right side then you need to fill those missing buttons with bogus lines, what happens when you program 5 lines at one? it programs them in order right? line 1 is at top and line 2 underneath etc. If you were to program 7 lines on the 7406 then the 3 buttons on the left will be lines 1-3 and the top button on the right should be line 7.
The right side is actualy staggered by one button:
Left side of sets:
7130- button 1 = button 1 on 7406
7310- button 2 = button 2 on 7406
7310- button 3 = button 3 on 7406
7310- button 4 = N/A on 7406
7310- button 5 = N/A on 7406
Right side of sets:
7130- button 6 = N/A on 7406
7310- button 7 = button 4 on 7406
7310- button 8 = button 5 on 7406
7310- button 9 = Button 6 on 7406
7310- button 10 = N/A on 7406
