I am trying to assign 4 lines appearances to a T7406 cordless set on a BCM 50. According to the documentation, buttons 9, 10, 11 and buttons 21, 22, 23 of a T7316E map to the six buttons of the T7406 cordless unit. I am trying to assign CO lines 1, 2, 5 and 7 to the T7406, which correspond to buttons 9,10,11 and 21 respectively on a T7316E. I am using Feature *81 to arrange the lines accordingly on the T7316E but the BCM 50 does not want accept that configuration. The "set lock" for the phone is "none." Can anyone help me with this problem and tell me why I cannot assign these 4 CO Lines?

Sorry folks this question has already been answered in another post. Thank you for you time.

It is still not working, so any comments or suggestions are still welcome.

First make sure you remove all the line appearances on the phone then only assign line 7.
Once line 7 shows on the first left top button, move it to the right side on top using f*81. Once moved, the 3 buttons on the left can receive line 1,2 and 5,just assign them in EM.

We have been able to get the keys assigned as wanted, but when the T7406 is plugged, the LCD screen goes black and is un-functional. That 4th line is too much for it. The T7406 works fine with 3 lines or less.

Good to know that 3 lines is the maximum on a T7406, wondering if you can assign a hunt group on the right side, if so assign your 4th line to a hunt group and program it "appear and ring" on the top button on the right.Let us know if it works.
